About this strain
Displays a steely blue-gray to slate coloration over the body, often with a subtle iridescent sheen under good lighting. True blues are not as vivid as neon-colored species but have an understated elegance that experienced keepers appreciate. The color depth varies considerably between lines — some lean heavily gray while better-quality strains show a distinctly blue metallic wash. Fins are typically the same tone as the body.
